I bought the pattern for this little fellow on the fair in Hamburg. It is from Fantasiabeads (http://www.fantasiabeads.de/).
For making the first leg I followed the pattern and nearly broke my fingers. So I made the others separatly starting on the feet and then joined the leg to the body with the last element. That was a lot easier.
The weight is nearly the same like the living collegues of this size have.
Welcome to my blog. I have been beading for ten years and there is still a lot to do. I began with crocheting but now I use other techniques too. 32 years ago I joined the "Club of Seamans's-Wives" and we have lived on the Costa Blanca in Spain for 22 years. I have taught beading for 9 years and also work as a translator/interpreter.

Thank you, Irmi,
For giving
me the tip with the crochet rope. When I finished the Vitrage-Beads from
Smadar, I had no idea, what to do with them. Now I crocheted.
This rope is
136 cm long, without the beaded beads.

Twisted
Last year my son asked me, if I would beta-bead his pattern. I did it and I forgot, that the photographs are still waiting to be shown.
The instructions are from Christoph Vogel and you find them in the magazine "Perlenpoesie Nr. 18".
I am afraid, I do not remember, what colours I used.
