When I go on a cruise, I need some nice jewelry . One of my favoured projects was the necklace "Flutterby" by Goodquillhunting.
The pattern you find here: whimbeads.com/.../GQH_Whimbeads_Flutterby.pdf
I modified it a bit. Instead of the 3mm facetted beads I used 4mm and I skipped the row with the drops on the inside.
Welcome to my blog. I have been beading for ten years and there is still a lot to do. I began with crocheting but now I use other techniques too. 32 years ago I joined the "Club of Seamans's-Wives" and we have lived on the Costa Blanca in Spain for 22 years. I have taught beading for 9 years and also work as a translator/interpreter.

To slim
and this during Christmas.
My favoured rainbowtendril had to loose circumference because it was not laying proberly around my neck.
Ich crochet it now slimmer and with other colour-combination.
The necklace has 50 cm without clasp.

The Lukas' „New Engine“
Lukas is an
engine driver in a puppet play that I loved when I was a child.
Preparing
the Christmas decoration I found the wooden pendants for the Christmas tree, my
children liked very much. Among these is an engine and suddenly I had the idea
to bead one. I could not get this idea out of my head and so I started beading.
Here you see the new engine of Lukas:
It has
about 7 x 3 x 5 cm.

Winston, the reindeer
For a long
time I refused to bead Christmas Ornaments but now I have fallen in love with
Winston, the reindeer. Look yourself, please:
You can
find the wonderful, correct instructions here: www.threadabead.com
Actual the filling of his tummy is a glass bauble
of 30mm. I had no one, so my Winston has a 30mm cotton wool ball in his paunch.Sonntag, 24. November 2013
A little romanticism
After two weeks fighting against several viruses, I needed something beautiful, easy to bead. I found it in the Beadwork-Magazine from August 2013. It is the “Heart to heart-bracelet” by Janet Palumbo. Finally, a pattern where everything is right from the text up to the drawings.
I like the
3-D-effect, the result of using peanut-beads.
