Crochet with structure

I have crocheted a some left-over beads here and did a bit of experimenting. The following came out:

In this necklace I used the "Abahatschi" pattern from the: http://www.perlenhaekeln.de/crochet website with seed beads in 15/0, 11/0 and 9/0. Here is a detail shot:

Another attempt was a rhomboid or diamond pattern from the same source. This time I used colder colors.
